SHIPPING POLICY

What You Need to Know

 

We are happy to offer personal delivery within select areas. 

All orders are processed within 2 business days ( excluding public holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. We will do our best to get your order sent out for delivery by next day if possible. You will receive another notification when your order is ready for delivery or sent out via shipment. 

Please note that Shipment can take up to 1-4 Business days for delivery within North and South Island. Delivery to some remote or rural areas may take a little longer to arrive. 

We use Courier NZ Post and Parcel Wings as our preferred courier. 

Our Treats can stay at least 6 days at room temperature and longer refrigerated which allows for shipping. We ensure treats are packaged correctly in boxes to reduce movement of these goodies while being delivered. 

Potential delays may occur due to a high volume of orders or postal problems that may occur outside of our control. We will endeavor to meet your requirements. 

Orders over $50 will be delivered free of charge.

This excludes Rural deliveries. 


Flat Rate Delivery:

We offer flat rate delivery to NZ wide. Additional costs may apply for Rural Delivery. 

Our Flat Rate delivery charges as below:

North Island Deliveries - $7.50

Rural Delivery - Additional $4.50 charge extra.

South Island Deliveries - $9.00

Rural Delivery for South Island - Additional $6 charge extra

If your postcode is not listed, please contact us to enquire about delivery. We will try our best to accommodate you.

 

How Do I Check The Status Of My Order?

You will receive a notification with a tracking no to check the status of your shipment.

You can also contact us at thelittlevillageof5@gmail.com with your name and order no, and we will look into it for you. Alternatively you can send us a message on our contact page.

Refunds

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at thelittlevillageof5@gmail.com with your order no and photo of the items condition. We address these on a case by case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.

PICK UP SERVICE

 

 

 

 

 

You can skip the delivery fees with free local pickup in Pokeno. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pickup within 2 days. We will send you an email or text when your order is ready along with instructions. 

LOCAL PICKUP

  • Pickup is available 

  • Tues - Fri 10am - 2pm and 4pm - 7pm.

  • Saturday 12pm-3pm. 

If you have a veggie hater at your house then these hidden vegetable treats is a way to boost their health and save your sanity! Sneak the good stuff in with some of our range of goodies.

 

There’s nothing wrong with bumping up recipes with hidden veggies, as long as you offer these same veggies to your child in their raw, whole state too.

The bottom line is that you can never have too many vegetables in a child’s diet and going over the recommended five a day servings is nothing but beneficial. Disguising vegetables becomes appropriate if a child is going through a fussy eating stage that’s making it impossible to reach even half of their recommended daily intake.

As with everything with little ones and nutrition – persistence and repeated offering is key. Along with a healthy dose of patience and sense of humour!
